i did some contact-paper screen-printing this weekend.
first of all, i'd like to mention how difficult it is to find printing ink any more. i know for a fact they use to have it at michael's and other craft stores a few years ago. but it seems like it's been replaced with this 'ink in a spray can' version...and i can't figure out how that's comparable. all i can think is that they flooded the stores with these DIY kits a few years ago when silkscreening became popular with the masses. but then once people realized how difficult the process is, they lost interest. and now you've got idiot-proof spray can versions.
anyway, my brother has a logo he needed printing on some things.
the final prints are only about 4inches square. there was no way i was going to attempt cutting letters out of the contact paper. i'm not a lunatic.
i know they're not perfect, but that's why i love them.
