land-ho, let's go.

i still haven't really had time to reflect on what's happened the last couple of days. but in the meantime here are some pictures to see.

now, i understand people use the phrase "that's breath-taking" loosely. but these sites are literally breath-taking. it seemed like every time i looked up, i gasped for air because these landscapes were so gorgeous.

this is red rocks. the rock formation here is a natural amphitheater. a lot of bands play here.

there's a rainbow in the next picture. caused by the lens on my camera, but i thought it was fitting anyway.

i think this is one of my favorites. i can't get over how beautiful this is. and you have some crazy lunatics exercising here.

the next day we drove to the rocky mountain national forest. but to get there we drove through this canyon. everywhere you looked was beautiful. that was a really awesome ride. for the first half hour i was in a daze, until i realized i should be snapping some pictures.

this is at the actual national park. we packed lunch, and ate there. perfect.

and this is proof that i was actually there. it was too bright to see through the camera though. so, this is me waving my arms around for my aunt to have hint of motion to look for to make sure i was actually in the shot.

more-so than making me want to jump up and move there immediately, this trip has made me want to go explore everywhere else.

so, here we go.

although, lately it's been set to attack.
...but it's slowly making it's way back down to sleepy.

rejected

last month i spent my days at work sending out resumes to any posting on careerbuilder, indeed.com, college central network, (...and i'm sure there was another...) that had anything to do with design, graphic, graphic design, illustration, or even medical illustration. i was able to send out about 10 a week. too many, i will admit. it got to a point where i forgot who i was even sending them to.

but fear not, the rejection letters are coming in now.

hey

weakness: eczema

i have an employee review this week. this is all i can think about.

i started another one of these for my brother michael and i to post our educational toys and ideas and things. i've been attempting to make a video a day (...but it's mostly turning out to be a video a week....that i only spend about an hour on...). here are some of them below.

this first one was for a lesson about energy and bottle rockets.

this next one was about water and cloud-making.

and this one was a lesson in centrifugal force.

mr. yappel, because of you, i will always pronounce it "centri-few-gal"
